Fragrance path Wangen an der Aare

Experience Cheeks a/ Aare with all senses. Why not also once over the nose? For all those who want to experience the world in a way other than through the eyes and ears, the fragrance trail invites you to visit.

We park at the station in Wangen a/ Aare. That's also where the Scentweg begins, with the first planted tub where you can consciously use your nose. Through the small park to the west we reach the company Air Creative (unfortunately closed due to Corona) which has been working for more than 25 years on the refinement of air and materials through the use of scent. The company is also responsible for the implementation of the path. Since I already know the company it is not so bad for me not to be able to pay a visit. But for those who do not know it yet, (as soon as possible) drop by, it is worth it! So we continue our way, past the roman catholic church through a typical Wangner quarter. If you like you can make a short detour to the Ceramic ARENA. There you can admire not only fragrance but also various ceramic sculptures. The tour continues along the Oeschbach, over open fields towards the Aare, with the river flowing towards the old town over the beautiful 650 year old wooden bridge. On the other side, it goes again along the idyllic bank of the Aare. The whole route is well signposted and recognisable. Not all the tubs have been planted yet, but since many things are in full bloom now, there are many other wonderful plant scents to be perceived.

A pleasant round walk for young and old. Indira had of course enjoyed the scent trail in her own way. :-D
