Stadlerberg circular route

We drive to the free public parking lot in the forest. Here is also a bus stop. April to and with July is leash obligation, thus Kesh comes to the drag line. We walk through the beautiful forest and come to a forest house with a fireplace. We continue to the lookout tower. There is also a big fireplace. The tower is 25m high and was built in 1964 from wood. Now there is a project to rebuild the tower. Because the tower is close to the airport, a beacon was installed. We take turns climbing the tower. The view is magnificent over the Zurich lowlands to the Alps and to Kloten airport. It is also very impressive to see a plane approaching the airport. After the beautiful impressions we return through the forest to the car. On the way we have a few more views into the distance. During the week, the tower was moderately visited, I think at the weekend it will be heavily visited.
