Summerfeeling in Davos

Sunny weather, beautiful mountain landscapes and perfect location!

Chantal and Nadine were invited by the Hotel Europe Davos for a weekend (28.07-29.0718).

The hotel is located directly on the promenade of Davos and has a fitness and wellness area, a restaurant and a casino. A grocery store (open daily) is also located in the immediate vicinity. There is also a bus stop on site, where the free bus (for overnight guests) will take you directly to the train station or in the direction of the mountains. Because of the central location, it is only a few meters to the park or the forest, which invite you to take an early morning or evening walk. For a slightly longer walk, the beautiful Davos Lake is recommended (leashes are required). With the many great welcome gifts (e.g. Bündner Nussorte, Rötelischnaps, dog treats and dog toys) the hotel welcomes both two- and four-legged friends. Those who book the dog package also receive dog beds, bowls and towels. On request, "walking-walking service" is offered or an appointment can be booked at the nearby dog salon.

In Davos it is recommended to travel by public transport. The Davos Card is available free of charge to guests staying one night or longer. Dogs pay half the price of the ticket. A lot can be done here: from biking, golfing to wakeboarding, there are also dozens of mountain railways where well-prepared hiking trails and water experiences await your visit.

On Saturday Nadine and Chantal and their two companions hiked the Jöriseen lakes and enjoyed the wellness area in the hotel after the four-hour hike.

On Sunday morning they set off for the MountainGames, where the start is only a few meters away from the hotel. With the help of iPad, loudspeaker box and puzzle bag they reached the respective stations where tricky puzzles had to be solved (easily walkable tour - 1.5h time required). Fun for young and old and possible in any weather.
